WANA (Oct 13) – Iranian Foreign Minister, referring to U.S. support for the Israeli regime’s warmongering, emphasized: “We will have no red lines in defending our people and our interests.”

Seyed Abbas Araqchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, reacted to reports about the U.S. sending missile defense systems to the occupied territories.

Araqchi, providing statistics on U.S. arms shipments to the Zionist regime, stated: “The United States is sending unprecedented amounts of weapons to Israel.”

He added: “The U.S. is now putting its own forces at risk by sending them to operate American missile systems in Israel.”

The Iranian foreign minister, who arrived in Baghdad today on the first stop of his third round of regional trips to discuss the current situation and the Zionist crimes in Gaza and Lebanon with his Iraqi counterpart and other officials, wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) account: “While we have made significant efforts in recent days to prevent a full-scale war in the region, I state clearly and unequivocally that we will have no red lines in defending our people and our interests.”

The Hebrew media outlet “Yedioth Ahronoth” reported on Saturday that Washington is willing to send THAAD defense systems to the Zionist regime to counter ballistic missiles fired from Iran. American soldiers are also set to operate these systems.
