WANA (Oct 13) – Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, called for Islamic unity against the crimes of the Israeli regime during the Islamic Parliamentary Union meeting in Geneva and accused Israel, with the support of the U.S. and certain Western nations, of continuing its crimes across the Islamic world and seeking impunity for its actions against Islamic leaders.

Ghalibaf raised the question, “Will the Islamic world merely watch these atrocities?” expressing confidence that Islamic freedom fighters would not allow such events to unfold. He referenced his recent visit to Lebanon, where officials and the public urged international action against Israeli crimes.

Warning Against Division and the Need for Unity

During his speech, Ghalibaf stressed the critical need for unity in the face of upcoming challenges, warning that division among Islamic nations would only lead to greater costs. He noted that Israel is trying to control the region’s infrastructure and, if unsuccessful, aims to destroy it.

Iran Ready for Joint Security Cooperation

Ghalibaf reiterated Iran’s readiness to engage in immediate and robust efforts to establish joint security cooperation against the threat posed by Israel. He pointed out that Israel is currently in its weakest state, despite its aggressive posturing, which is meant to conceal its vulnerabilities.

Call for Cutting Ties with Israel and Applying Pressure on the U.S.

The Iranian Speaker urged the Islamic world to cease all cooperation, aid, and negotiations with the Israeli regime and to halt any political and economic projects benefiting Israel. He also stressed the importance of coordinated and effective pressure on the U.S. to prevent further Israeli crimes.

Israel’s Lifelines Under Islamic Control

Ghalibaf concluded by asserting that the key lifelines of the Israeli regime are now under the control of the Islamic world, and with unity and solidarity among Muslims, the region can put an end to Israel’s ongoing atrocities.
