WANA (Oct 15) – During the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) session on Monday, October 14, 2024, in Geneva, the Iranian parliamentary delegation, in protest, walked out of the session while the Israeli representative speech started. This action was also accompanied by representatives from Algeria, Jordan, Tunisia, Turkey, and the Arab Parliament.

Manouchehr Mottaki, head of the Iranian delegation, responded to the claims made by the Israeli representative and urged the IPU to revoke Israel’s membership, citing the regime’s crimes in Lebanon and Palestine.

He stated, “Remove the Israeli terrorists from this assembly. After the victory of the resistance, the leaders and military commanders of the Zionist regime must be tried in the Nuremberg Tribunal.”
