WANA (Oct 16) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, met with King Abdullah II of Jordan today as part of his ongoing diplomatic efforts to address the escalating security challenges in West Asia, and both leaders emphasized the need for regional cooperation to address instability and rising violence.

 

In his visit to Jordan, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also met with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi in Amman on Wednesday, where he stressed that collective action is required to stop the crimes committed by the Israeli regime.

 

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged their views on bilateral ties and the latest developments in the region.

 

Iran’s top diplomat is visiting Jordan as part of a diplomatic effort to address Israeli atrocities in the region. His diplomatic efforts have also taken him to Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, and Oman.

 

In talks with regional authorities, the top Iranian diplomat conveyed his country’s message stressing the establishment of peace in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon while being fully ready for a “war situation.”

 

The Israeli regime has so far killed at least 42,344 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 99,013 others, according to the Gaza health ministry.
