WANA (Oct 28) – Ali Akbar Ahmadian, the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, firmly stated that recent Israeli operations had “virtually no impact” on Iran’s military capability. “The strength and power of the Islamic Republic of Iran remain intact,” Ahmadian asserted.

Referring to the recent death of Palestinian resistance leader Yahya Sinwar, Ahmadian declared, “The martyrdom of Yahya Sinwar is proof of the divine promise: martyrs cannot be killed; they remain alive, inspiring movements. In fact, Martyr Sinwar’s influence now goes beyond what he could achieve in life.”

Speaking on the state and future of regional resistance, he added, “The battlefield today reflects the resilience of the resistance. The Zionist enemy, despite its ambitions, finds itself frustrated and faltering in the face of Palestinian and Lebanese resistance. The resistance front is victorious and will reach its goals, uniting a vast global movement behind it.”

Ahmadian continued, “When the Aqsa Storm operation began, the Palestinian cause was obscure in the eyes of the world, and enemy propaganda painted Palestinian fighters as terrorists. Today, there’s no doubt left: Israel is recognized globally as an occupying force, and the Palestinian people are seen as freedom fighters. This shift is a victory, born of Martyr Sinwar’s sacrifices and the efforts of Hamas fighters. Today, the flag of Palestine flies high.”

Regarding Saturday’s Israeli attack on Iranian territory, Ahmadian remarked, “There’s no need for us to evaluate the operation’s impact—they can assess it themselves. For all their bravado, the operation had minimal effect on the military capability it targeted. The strength and resilience of the Islamic Republic of Iran continue undiminished.”
