WANA (Oct 28) – The spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in response to Israel’s recent aggressive actions against Iran, stated that Beijing opposes violations of national sovereignty.

 

“Liu Jian,” the spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responded to a question about the Israeli regime’s attack on Iran early last Saturday, affirming that China stands against violations of national sovereignty and security of other countries, as well as the repeated use of force and aggression.

 

Liu further commented: “The current situation in West Asia is extremely tense, and all involved parties should refrain from escalating security risks in the region.”

 

He also emphasized: “Some recent events once again highlight the urgency and necessity of a ceasefire and an end to the conflict. The international community, especially influential powers, must play a constructive role in creating conditions to reduce regional tensions.”
