Iran: Recent Israeli Attack Did Not Cause Serious Damage to Air Defense Facilities
WANA (Nov 11) – The Commander of Iran’s Air Defense Force announced that the recent Israeli attack did not cause serious damage to the country’s air defense facilities.
Highlighting significant advancements in recent years, he noted that most of the air defense equipment is domestically produced, and Iran now stands as the leading air defense power in the region.
He added that Iran’s air defense operations are carried out within an integrated network, with the primary mission of defending Iran’s airspace against any threat.
According to the commander, Israel’s aim in the recent attack was to destroy or disrupt the country’s air defense systems; however, due to the strength of Iran’s air defenses, no aircraft managed to enter Iranian airspace.
He also stated that any equipment struck during the attack has been restored to full operational status and is now back in service.
