WANA (Nov 24) – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei confirmed that a meeting will be held between deputy foreign ministers of Iran, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom to discuss bilateral, regional, and international issues on November 29.

In a statement to reporters, Baghaei reiterated Iran’s fundamental policy of engagement and cooperation with other countries based on the principles of dignity, wisdom, and expediency.

He described the upcoming talks as a continuation of the discussions held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York earlier this year.

The spokesperson noted that a range of topics would be addressed during the talks, including issues related to Palestine, Lebanon, and nuclear matters, which have been scheduled as part of the ongoing dialogue between the four nations.

Earlier, Japan’s Kyodo News reported that Iranian and European Union delegations are set to meet on Friday to resume nuclear negotiations after a two-year pause.
