WANA (Nov 27) – Mohammad Eslami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), announced today on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting that Iran has begun injecting gas into several thousand advanced centrifuges as part of the development of our nuclear program, and they have been brought into operational mode.

Speaking to reporters, he emphasized, “The Islamic Republic of Iran has always been open to dialogue, but it will never back down in the face of coercion, pressure, or unlawful actions by the other side.”

Eslami reiterated that Iran’s nuclear program has clear and peaceful objectives, dismissing allegations from Western countries. “Attempts to ignore the commitments outlined in the JCPOA [Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action] and impose unilateral pressure through baseless accusations will backfire,” he stated.

He added that Iran’s goals, both quantitative and qualitative, are transparent and aligned with its development trajectory. “We are steadily achieving the desired outcomes, and the positive effects will be evident in people’s lives,” Eslami said.

The AEOI chief underscored that all of Iran’s nuclear activities are under the oversight of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and comply with the NPT (Non-Proliferation Treaty) safeguards. He dismissed long-standing accusations, saying, “Some of these claims date back 20 years and were fabricated by anti-Iran groups and foreign intelligence services as pretexts for pressuring Iran.”

Eslami noted that Iran has consistently operated within legal frameworks and has never had undeclared nuclear sites. He reminded reporters that the JCPOA had resolved such issues under the PMD (Possible Military Dimensions) framework, with IAEA inspections confirming their nonexistence.

He also highlighted repeated assessments by U.S. intelligence agencies, which have declared that Iran does not have a military nuclear program. “These are historical facts backed by documentation. Unfortunately, the other side remains committed to its path of bullying and pressure, disregarding even its own agreements,” he said.

Concluding his remarks, Eslami affirmed that Iran’s uranium enrichment remains capped at a maximum of 60%, as per its program. He highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance efficiency through the use of advanced centrifuges with higher output and economic benefits.

“Iran and its people have never and will never succumb to bullying and pressure,” Eslami declared.
