WANA (Dec 15) – The Commander of the Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Rear Admiral Alireza Tangseiri, announced the production of 67-meter aluminum vessels made of soft alloy by the IRGC Navy, stating that they have started constructing guided missile-launching vessels.

 

Rear Admiral Tangseiri emphasized, “Following the guidelines of the Supreme Leader, research within the armed forces is pursued scientifically.”

 

He added, “We are fully aware of enemy threats and are preparing ourselves to confront them. Therefore, it is essential to dedicate time around the clock to research.”

 

Stressing the significant strides taken in research and development within the IRGC in the field of military equipment, he remarked, “As a force reliant on equipment and operating based on technical expertise, the IRGC Navy must act in accordance with research and scientific principles.”

 

He further stated, “As the Supreme Leader has mentioned, we have a long road ahead to achieve great milestones, so we must not be complacent and should strive for further progress.”

 

Referring to the construction and production of 67-meter aluminum vessels made from soft alloys, Admiral Tangseiri pointed out, “Only a limited number of countries possess the capability to produce such vessels. Additionally, we have established knowledge-based companies and are collaborating with 103 knowledge-based institutes and 32 universities.”

 

He underscored that enemy threats are being closely monitored, saying, “We neutralize their threats with the deterrent power of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

 

In conclusion, Rear Admiral Tangseiri declared, “Today, we take pride in having initiated the construction of guided missile-launching vessels.”
