WANA (Dec 22) – This morning (Sunday, December 22, 2024), in a meeting at Imam Khomeini’s Hosseiniyeh, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic emphasized: “The Iranian nation will trample underfoot anyone who accepts being a mercenary for America.” He asserted that the Iranian people stand firm against America’s domineering policies and will neutralize their schemes for countries like Iran.

 

Despotism or Chaos: America’s Strategy for Dominance

While analyzing America’s plans for dominating nations, the Supreme Leader stated: “America pursues one of two strategies to achieve its objectives: despotism or chaos. In Syria, they caused chaos and, in their own view, now consider it a victory. However, soon we will witness the emergence of an honorable and powerful force in Syria.”

Referring to a statement by a U.S. official who claimed, “Anyone who causes chaos in Iran, we will support them,” the Leader addressed this stance by highlighting the vigilance of the Iranian nation, saying: “Fools smell a feast cooking! The Iranian nation will trample anyone who accepts being America’s lackey.”

 

The Islamic Republic Has No Proxy Forces

In response to allegations from adversaries about Iran employing proxy forces in the region, the Leader clarified: “The Islamic Republic does not have proxy forces. Yemen, Hezbollah, Hamas, and Jihad fight based on their faith and beliefs, not as our proxies. If the Islamic Republic were to act, it wouldn’t need proxy forces.”

A Brighter Future for the Region by God’s Grace

The Supreme Leader expressed optimism about the region’s future: “The future of the region will, by God’s grace, be brighter than today. In Syria, the youth are standing firm against agents of insecurity and destruction. They have nothing to lose and will undoubtedly triumph over their enemies.”

 

Fear-Mongering: The Enemy’s Tactic to Discourage Nations

Ayatollah Khamenei highlighted fear-mongering and spreading despair as key enemy tactics, stating: “The enemy seeks to emphasize your weaknesses to scare and discourage you, while in reality, you are strong and have all the necessary means at your disposal.”

Zionists: Defeat After Defeat

Referring to the repeated defeats of the Zionists in the region, the Leader remarked: “Zionists try to mask their failures with boastful rhetoric, but the truth is that they have failed in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria. Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Palestinian resistance remain alive and strong. Even in Syria, despite having no obstacles, they did not succeed. Rest assured, Syria’s courageous and zealous youth will drive the Zionists out of the region.”
