IRGC Unveils Underground Missile City and Naval Weapons
WANA (Feb 02) – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has successfully stored all of its shore-to-sea missile systems in secure, fortified underground tunnels, according to Major General Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC.
Speaking at the unveiling of a new strategic missile base for the IRGC Navy, General Salami emphasized that multiple such underground facilities, known as “missile cities,” have been established across various coastal and inland locations in Iran. Each of these bases houses a large number of missile systems, significantly bolstering Iran’s defense capabilities.
Showcasing Cutting-Edge Missile Technology
During the ceremony, the IRGC Navy revealed a substantial array of new long-range and medium-range missile systems featuring advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence integration. General Salami highlighted the strategic advancements, stating that the newly developed missiles have a range exceeding 1,000 kilometers and can be launched from deep inside Iranian territory, striking targets with high precision on both land and sea.
“These missile systems have seen significant enhancements in range, accuracy, and destructive power,” he said. “Over the years, the IRGC Navy has made considerable progress in both the quantity and quality of its offensive systems. Our real missile range, combined with the operational reach of naval vessels and shore-based missile platforms, has been significantly extended, incorporating the most modern technologies.”

An Unpredictable and Growing Naval Force
General Salami further stressed that the IRGC Navy remains an unpredictable force beyond the enemy’s calculations. “The enemy cannot accurately measure our capabilities because we are constantly evolving, increasing our strength, and producing new missiles daily,” he asserted. “This power is immeasurable and, most importantly, unstoppable.”
Introduction of the Qadr-380 Long-Range Missile
Coinciding with the unveiling of the IRGC Navy’s missile capabilities, the event marked the first public display of the Qadr-380 long-range missile. This missile is equipped with artificial intelligence, allowing it to fly at extremely low altitudes, making it undetectable by enemy radar systems.
The Qadr-380 boasts several advanced features, including altitude and flight length adjustment, the ability to navigate through mid-flight elevations, and a high-energy warhead capable of delivering significantly greater explosive force than its predecessors. Additionally, it employs a multi-band radar system for precision targeting, possesses multi-directional attack capabilities, and is equipped with electronic warfare countermeasures.
