WANA (Apr 15) – Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, spokesperson for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in a meeting with a group of media representatives, referring to the dimensions and strategic consequences of the operation, emphasized that “Operation True Promise 1 was the world’s largest drone operation at a regional level with a flight range of over 1,000 kilometers”. He stated:

 

“True Promise 1 was a sign of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s initiative and asymmetric offensive capability to strike the Zionist enemy, and marked the first direct and overt military confrontation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Zionist regime.”

 

Emphasizing that True Promise 1 was a completely legitimate and legal operation conducted in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, he added:

 

“This operation simultaneously demonstrated three clear and significant images: the firm resolve of the Islamic Republic to decisively respond to the terrorist regime that violated Iran’s security; the confidence and capability of the Armed Forces to confront the Zionist regime; and the emergence of Iran’s unique military planning based on asymmetric approaches to counter this regime.”

 

The IRGC spokesperson stated: “True Promise 1 portrayed the disregard and indifference of the Iranian Armed Forces in the face of overt and covert political pressure by supporters of the Zionist regime aimed at preventing retaliation — and revealed to all domestic and foreign observers the independence and dignity of Iran’s Armed Forces.”

 

Brigadier General Naeini, emphasizing that “True Promise 1 was carried out based on accurate and realistic calculations, and included two sets of main (strategic) and secondary (tactical) objectives”, elaborated on the details of these objectives, stating:

 

“The collapse of Israel’s deterrence, the humiliation of Israel’s security apparatus, the planting of fear and anxiety regarding a large-scale conflict with Iran in Israel’s social and security systems, and finally, the manifestation of the Iranian nation’s and its Armed Forces’ will and power on the international stage were among the strategic goals and plans of Iran in designing and executing Operation True Promise 1.”

 

Continuing the press briefing and regarding the “Messages of Operation True Promise 1,” the IRGC spokesperson asserted: “The fragile security foundation ruling the occupied territories — contrary to the hollow exaggerations of Israeli propaganda outlets — was exposed, and Iran’s offensive power as a missile and drone force in the region and the world was publicly proven in this operation.”
