Iran’s Nuclear Progress Will Not Stop
WANA (May 13) – The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) emphasized that the country’s nuclear path is clear, peaceful, and unstoppable — a reality even acknowledged multiple times by its adversaries. He stated that Iran will continue on its path of advancement at an even greater pace.
Mohammad Eslami, Vice President and head of the AEOI, stressed that despite enemies having used all their resources to halt Iran’s progress, they now openly admit that Iran has achieved indigenous nuclear technology and is now a holder of advanced nuclear capabilities.
Eslami noted that even under full sanctions — including restrictions on the transportation of radiopharmaceuticals — Iran is actively cooperating alongside advanced nations in the field of radiopharmaceuticals. Emphasizing the need for perseverance, national dignity, and independence, he called on students and youth to remain strong and committed to advancing the country’s scientific standing.
Iran’s Nuclear Knowledge Is Neither Negotiable Nor For Sale
In a press briefing, Eslami announced that the cold plasma technology, developed by domestic scientists in collaboration with Alborz University of Medical Sciences, is one of Iran’s valuable contributions to public welfare. He added that nuclear technology in Iran is not limited to power plants and electricity production; it also plays a significant role in medicine and industry, particularly in radiotherapy, the production of radiopharmaceuticals, and industrial measuring tools.
Eslami stated that Iran currently produces over 70 types of radiopharmaceuticals, which are distributed to 230 medical centers across the country. Additionally, more than 85,000 radiation workers across 6,500 medical and service centers benefit from this technology. He reiterated: “Iran’s nuclear knowledge is neither for sale nor up for negotiation. The Iranian nation has paid a heavy price over many years to acquire this expertise.”
Reaffirming that the country’s nuclear trajectory is peaceful, irreversible, and widely recognized by even its foes, Eslami concluded by saying that Iran will accelerate its scientific advancement, with the Atomic Energy Organization playing a leading role in health, environmental protection, and national development as a symbol of innovation.
