Iran’s foreign minister emphasized supporting the people of Yemen
WANA (DEC28) – In the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our country with the chief negotiator of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, the need to lift the blockade of this country was emphasized as a humanitarian matter. (Yemeni people)
Dr. Hossein Amirabdollahian, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met with Mohammad Abd Salam, the chief negotiator of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, today (Wednesday) in Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman.
In this meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran appreciated the steadfastness of the Yemeni people in asserting their rights and emphasized the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran for this matter.
Dr. Amir Abdollahian stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always emphasized the necessity of finding a peaceful solution to the crisis in Yemen and considers political dialogue between Yemenis as an internal matter of Yemen.
Iran’s foreign minister emphasized that as a humanitarian matter, the blockade of Yemen should be lifted and the people of this country should be able to enjoy normal living conditions in their country.
