Iranian cruise missile is the new terror of Israelis
WANA (Feb 25) – IRGC Aerospace Chief Amir Ali Hajizadeh appeared on national Iranian television on February 24th to reveal details of the revolutionary guard’s newest military technologies, chief among which is a new long-range cruise missile.
According to Hajizadeh, the cruise missile has a range of 1650 kilometers and is called “Paveh” after a city in Kermanshah province where a Kurdish majority reside. Hajizadeh stated this name was chosen “in honor of Kurdistan’s martyrs.”
The IRGC aerospace chief also spoke about new drones in his televised interview, and stated that the first target for the new cruise missile would be the Israeli Iron Dome defense systems.
Hajizadeh stated that the Israeli defenses could not stand up to the combined might of Iran’s arsenal which now included the new cruise missile.
Countries like the United States and Israel are wary of Iran’s new long-range missile, and Hajizadeh made statements against both of these countries in his speech.
The US has stated previously that it is skeptical of Iran having developed a hypersonic missile, to which Hajizadeh responded in his interview by saying it does not matter what the enemy believes as everything will be revealed on the battlefield once time for an attack comes.
