WANA (July 24) – Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, stated: “According to reports from officials of the Ministry of Defense, the ministry’s exports have grown fourfold, and the production of equipment has increased by 2.5 times.”

 

Rezaei continued: “A 2.5-fold increase in product production, a fourfold increase in cooperation with private companies, a doubling of the pensions for armed forces retirees, and the adjustment of retirees’ pensions are among other actions taken by the Ministry of Defense.”

 

He added: “The sales of defense industries have also doubled compared to last year.”
