WANA (Oct 08) – During a conference on Tuesday titled ‘Al-Aqsa Storm: The Beginning of Nasrallah’, which was held for the anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation at the Political and International Studies Center of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Iran’s Foreign Minister stated: “Any attack by the Zionist regime on Iran’s infrastructure will be met with an even stronger response.”

In the event, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi reiterated the words of Iran’s Supreme Leader, emphasizing that Operation Al-Aqsa Storm inflicted a “bitter experience and a heavy defeat” on Israel, one that is “irreparable.”

He also stated that today, the issue of Palestine has become the world’s top concern. “The hands of the Islamic resistance are strong, both in software and hardware,” he said, adding that the resistance movement is not dependent on any single individual.

Referring to his recent visit to Beirut, Araghchi conveyed a clear message: “We will stand firmly behind the resistance with all our might.” He further warned Israel not to test Iran’s resolve, stating that any attack on Iran would be met with an even more powerful response.

“We carefully monitor every move and will neither rush nor hesitate in responding,” Araghchi said, emphasizing that Israel is aware of the targets within its territory that are within Iran’s reach.

He concluded by stating, “We monitor every movement carefully and will not rush or delay in responding. Our enemies know the targets within the Zionist regime that are within our reach, and they have witnessed the power of our missiles firsthand.”

Araghchi reiterated the commitment of the 14th administration to defend the principles and ideals of Palestine and the resistance movement, highlighting that the recent operations “True Promise 1/2” by armed forces demonstrate Iran’s determination to respond to any aggressive actions.

After the conference, Abbas Araghchi spoke to reporters about several pressing matters. He highlighted that, alongside the ongoing atrocities committed by the Israeli regime in Gaza, similar actions are also occurring in Lebanon, prompting continued efforts and consultations on the situation.

“Our principled policy is to support the resistance,” Araghchi stated, emphasizing that any diplomatic efforts are aimed at halting the Israeli regime’s crimes. He reiterated that while the Islamic Republic of Iran does not seek to escalate tensions or war, it is not afraid of conflict.

Furthermore, Araghchi revealed that Iran has officially proposed to the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to convene a special summit of Islamic leaders, adding that the Secretary-General is still engaged in consultations regarding this proposal.

He also noted that the first informal joint meeting of foreign ministers from the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Iran has taken place. While acknowledging that the relationship between Iran and its Persian Gulf neighbours has experienced fluctuations, he expressed hope that there is a shared will to transform these relations into cooperation to resolve regional issues.

Araghchi also announced that he would begin his trip to Saudi Arabia and several other regional countries this afternoon. These visits aim to discuss regional developments and efforts to stop the crimes of the Israeli regime in Lebanon and Gaza.
