Araghchi: U.S. Actions Aim to Weaken Islamic Countries
WANA (Dec 22) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has criticized the United States for its violations of international law, accusing it of acting on behalf of Israel to weaken Islamic countries and dominate the region.
In a phone conversation with Yemen’s Foreign Minister Jamal Ahmad Ali Amer, the two officials exchanged views on bilateral relations and the latest regional developments.
Araghchi condemned the attacks on Yemen by the United States, the United Kingdom, and Israel, stating that such actions are part of a joint plan with Israel to destabilize Islamic countries.
He commended the Yemeni people for their steadfast resistance and their principled support for the oppressed Palestinians, emphasizing that, despite extensive backing from the U.S. and Western allies, Israel has failed to achieve its destructive goals.
Yemeni Foreign Minister Amer briefed Araghchi on the latest developments in his country and expressed gratitude for Iran’s support for Yemen’s government and people in the face of aggression.
He highlighted the shared responsibility of Islamic nations to counter U.S. and Israeli ambitions, urging them to harness their significant resources to prevent these powers from achieving their objectives.
