WANA (Oct 01) – Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, visited Hezbollah’s office in Tehran to express condolences on the passing of Secretary-General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah. He conveyed his sympathies to the Lebanese people, especially Hezbollah leaders and fighters.

Araghchi condemned Israel’s actions, stating, “The regime’s efforts to weaken the resistance through targeted assassinations will fail.” He affirmed that “the blood of Nasrallah and other martyrs will only strengthen the resolve of those fighting for justice,” assuring that divine promise guarantees the ultimate victory of the oppressed.

Highlighting Hezbollah’s growth compared to its past, Araghchi reiterated Iran’s unwavering support for Lebanon’s resistance against Israeli aggression, expressing confidence that Hezbollah will emerge even stronger.

Seyed Abdullah Safieddine, Hezbollah’s representative in Iran, thanked Araghchi for Iran’s steadfast support and emphasized that Hezbollah will continue the path of martyrdom and resistance set by Nasrallah in defense of Palestine.

During the meeting, Araqchi presented Safieddine with a handwritten note from the late Nasrallah, which emphasized the honor and divine blessing of martyrdom, and prayed for the strength and gratitude to continue the path of the martyrs.

Seyed Hassan Nasrallah wrote in this note:

“One of God’s greatest blessings for any family is to be viewed with honor and to have a martyr, or more than one, chosen from among them for His path.

This is a divine grace for which we can never give enough thanks. It is a source of dignity, honor, and a guarantee for both this world and the hereafter.

I ask the Almighty to make us among those who recognize and are grateful for this blessing, and to grant us the blessings and intercession of the martyrs through the grace of Prophet Muhammad and his pure family.”
