Araghchi: War Against Yemen Is Doomed to Fail
WANA (Mar 22) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdel Aty held a phone conversation this afternoon to discuss ongoing regional developments.
During the call, Araghchi condemned the resumption of Israeli attacks on Gaza, the killing of civilians, and the blockade on humanitarian aid, calling these actions a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement. He urged the international community to take immediate action to halt Israel’s aggression in the region.
The Iranian foreign minister also denounced U.S. and U.K. airstrikes on Yemen, emphasizing the Yemeni people’s historical resistance against foreign aggression. He asserted that any military campaign against Yemen is doomed to fail.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty expressed deep concern over the escalating tensions in Gaza, Yemen, and Lebanon, stressing the importance of diplomatic efforts to prevent further deterioration of the situation across the region.
