WANA (Oct 18) – In an interview upon arrival in Istanbul, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, highlighted the dangerous situation in the region caused by Israeli aggression.

 

He emphasized his recent visits to Jordan, Egypt, and Turkey, noting a shared understanding of the risks posed by the Gaza and Lebanon conflicts, as well as the refugee crisis.

 

Araghchi pointed out Iran’s good relations with Turkey and mentioned regional consultations with Turkish officials.

 

He also referred to the “3+3” Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, which is being held without Georgia but includes other regional countries, focusing on Caucasus issues.

 

He concluded by stressing the importance of resolving regional matters peacefully to ensure lasting stability and security.
