WANA (Sep 21) – The head of Iran’s diplomatic body, in a message addressed to the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, stated: “As I arrive in New York to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, I consider it my Islamic and humanitarian duty to be the resounding voice of the heroic people of Palestine and Lebanon against the criminal and aggressive Zionist regime.”

 

The full text of the message from the Iranian Foreign Minister is as follows:

 

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

 

_“Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur’an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment.”_ (Surah At-Tawbah, Ayah 111)

 

Esteemed Brother and Mujahid, His Excellency Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah,
Honorable Secretary-General of Hezbollah of Lebanon,
Peace be upon you.

 

I extend my congratulations and condolences to Your Excellency, the officials and fighters of Hezbollah, the government and the brave and resilient people of Lebanon, and the honorable families of these martyrs, on the martyrdom of the Mujahid Commander and Hero of the Front against the Zionist Occupation Regime, Mr. Ibrahim Aqeel, along with several commanders and fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, who were martyred in a terrorist and aggressive attack by the Zionist regime.

 

Martyrdom on the path to the sacred cause of liberating Palestine and Al-Quds, and defending the oppressed and defenseless people of Palestine, who have been subjected to the most brutal war crimes and genocidal acts by the Zionist terrorist regime for over a year, is a great honor and the embodiment of adherence to ethical and humanitarian values. It is a manifestation of fulfilling the divine commandments and following the tradition of the Holy Prophet and the Imams (peace be upon them) in standing up for the oppressed against the oppressor for all the Mujahideen and great martyrs of the resistance.

 

As I arrive in New York to attend the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, I consider it my Islamic and humanitarian duty to be the strong voice of the rightful demands of the heroic people of Palestine and Lebanon against the criminal and aggressive Zionist regime. This vile and bloodthirsty regime has once again demonstrated through its heinous and terrifying terrorist methods and mass killings that it adheres to none of the international standards and regulations. Even at the cost of endangering regional and global peace and security, it seeks to achieve its illegitimate and expansionist goals.

 

By the grace of God and with the sacrifices of the brave fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Palestine, Lebanon, and throughout the West Asia region, especially with the global awakening to the savage crimes of the Zionists in Gaza, the struggle and resistance against the Zionist regime will continue more determinedly than ever until the liberation of the Palestinian people from occupation and aggression, promising the realization of the sacred goal of freeing Al-Quds.

 

I honor the memory of those true and brave Mujahideen in the path of God, and on the occasion of the blessed birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet of Islam, I pray to Allah for the exaltation of the ranks of these martyred fighters and their proximity to the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
