WANA (Apr 23) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, on the eve of his official visit to China, held a telephone conversation with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

 

Araghchi spoke with Grossi, who is currently in Washington, ahead of his trip to China.

 

During the conversation, the Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized the Islamic Republic of Iran’s goodwill and seriousness in choosing the path of diplomacy, and updated Grossi on the latest developments in the ongoing indirect talks between Iran and the United States.

 

Director General Grossi praised Iran’s responsible approach and expressed the Agency’s readiness to provide any necessary support in this process, in line with the IAEA’s duties and authority under its Statute.
