Austrian Citizen Christian Weber Released Using Clemency and Islamic Compassion
WANA (Sep 17) – Austrian citizen Christian Weber was released from prison under Islamic clemency and handed over to the Austrian ambassador.
Christian Weber, an Austrian citizen who had been imprisoned in Iran’s West Azerbaijan province for certain committed offenses, was freed from prison using clemency measures and Islamic compassion.
After his release, Weber was handed over to the Austrian ambassador to facilitate his exit and transfer process.
Wolf Dietrich Heim, Austria’s ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressed his and the Austrian government’s gratitude to Dr. Atebari, the head of the judiciary in West Azerbaijan province, during a meeting in the judiciary office.
The Austrian ambassador also conveyed the appreciation of Christian Weber’s family for the care he received in prison, stating that the humane and favorable treatment of Weber by prison authorities, especially after his family visited him, brought them great relief and comfort, and they felt it their duty to express their thanks.
