WANA (July 11) – Ali Bagheri, Acting Foreign Minister of Iran, announced in a televised interview with the national media that negotiations with the American side for lifting sanctions are ongoing.

Key points from Bagheri’s statements in this television program:

– The path ahead in the arena of sanctions relief negotiations is moving forward.

– Despite differences, we have managed to reach a convergent dialogue with the 15 neighbouring countries, and these differences have become a source of cooperation.

– No one can deny that Iran is a power in various fields, both soft and hard.

The negotiation process (JCPOA and lifting sanctions) is ongoing through indirect talks mediated by Oman.

– The progress made in the negotiations has not conflicted with the Strategic Action Plan of the Parliament of Iran for Lifting Sanctions.

– When we told the other side in the negotiations that this is the law and we cannot act against it, the other side was forced to accept it.
