WANA (July 28) – Ebrahim Azizi, head of the National Security Commission of the Parliament, referred to the statements of the Supreme Leader of Iran during Iran’s 14th presidential term endorsement.

 

He stated that relations with neighboring countries should be a priority and emphasized that the Supreme Leader made wise statements about the country’s strategy during the ceremony. Azizi highlighted the significance of the country’s foreign policy, pointing out that it should be a consideration for all of us.

 

He stated that the leader’s focus on foreign policy emphasizes the significant responsibilities that government and parliament officials have in this field. It is crucial for all of us to understand the Supreme Leader’s directives correctly and to implement them accordingly.

 

Azizi emphasized the necessity of following a practical roadmap to strengthen relationships with neighbors using the vision document and the seventh development plan.

 

The head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Council stated that there are about 14 countries in Iran’s neighborhood. He also mentioned that the Islamic Republic of Iran has valuable capacities for the neighboring countries, and they have good opportunities to benefit from Iran.

 

He emphasized the need to broaden our focus beyond certain countries without practical help. The Islamic Council will examine the proposed 14th government ministers’ plans, especially the foreign affairs nominees, to ensure their commitment to carrying out the leader’s orders.

 

Azizi mentioned that the parliament and the National Security Commission are developing a plan to use parliamentary resources to implement the Supreme Leader’s directives. While the Supreme Leader’s statements were presented as recommendations, the parliament will treat them as essential tasks and use them to guide its actions.
