Consultations Between Qatari and Iranian Foreign Ministers
WANA (Aug 26) – Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, who has traveled to Tehran for consultations with Iranian officials, met with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs, earlier today.
He is also scheduled to meet with Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran.
The visit of Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to Tehran marks the first official meeting of Iran’s 14th government since it took office.
This trip is distinguished by experts given the special regional circumstances, ongoing ceasefire negotiations in the Gaza conflict, and the open case regarding the punishment of the Zionist regime for its terrorist act in Tehran and the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh.
