WANA (Aug 27) – Following the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ action of summoning the Iranian ambassador, “Wolf Dietrich Heim,” the Austrian ambassador in Tehran, was summoned today by the Director General for Western Europe to Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During this meeting, the Director General for Western Europe emphasized that Hezbollah is a liberation movement and a resistance force against occupation, playing an active and effective role in Lebanon’s political structure, with official representation in both the government and parliament.

The Director General for Western Europe also strongly protested against the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ action, stating that this questionable move is contrary to the realities of the region and the relations between the two countries.
