WANA (Sep 05) – The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London, referring to Netanyahu’s speech and his use of a map that excluded the West Bank, stated that while some deceitfully still speak of the two-state solution, it questioned: On which land is this independent Palestinian state supposed to be established?

Netanyahu’s use of a fake map, which showed the West Bank as part of the occupied territories of the regime, prompted a reaction from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the UK.

Recently, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu displayed a map during a press conference showing the occupied Palestinian territories, including the Philadelphia Corridor, with the West Bank as part of the regime’s occupied lands.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London wrote on its social media platform, X: “Netanyahu used a map during his speech to foreign media that entirely excludes the West Bank. Yet, some deceitfully continue to speak of a two-state solution. On which land is this independent Palestinian state supposed to be created?”

The Palestinian Authority also responded to Netanyahu’s actions, issuing a statement saying: “Netanyahu’s use of this ominous map, which considers the West Bank as part of the regime’s territory, poses a clear challenge to efforts aimed at stopping the war and genocide in Gaza, the displacement of the Palestinian people, and the revival of the peace process based on the two-state solution.”
