WANA (Sep 17) – The head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization announced his meeting and discussions with Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), emphasizing that Iran’s relations with the agency continue in a stable manner.

 

In a post on Instagram, Mohammad Eslami wrote: “On the first day of the 68th Annual General Conference of the IAEA, I met and had discussions with Mr. Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the Agency, in Vienna.”

 

He added: “During the meeting with the Director General, we reviewed the current situation between the two sides. It was conveyed to Mr. Grossi that we are seriously pursuing the development of Iran’s nuclear industry within the framework of IAEA regulations, which is supported by the Agency.”

 

Eslami highlighted: “During the session, the proposal for the IAEA to utilize the opportunities and nuclear capacities of the Islamic Republic of Iran was put forward.”

 

The head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization continued: “Fortunately, I had a positive discussion with the Director General, and I believe this meeting is a step forward. The most important message from this meeting is that the world should know that Iran’s relations with the IAEA continue in a stable manner, and under no circumstances will this process be harmed by psychological pressure or negative propaganda. We will also maintain this positive course.”
