WANA (Sep 30) – The former commander of Iran’s Quds Force said: “I can confirm as an informed individual that no command position within Hezbollah’s leadership structure is vacant, and all martyred commanders have been replaced with new ones.”

General Ahmad Vahidi, former commander of Iran’s Quds Force, stated that while the assassination of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and other Hezbollah commanders would be a great loss, it would not weaken Hezbollah’s organizational strength. He emphasized, “Hezbollah continues to stand victorious on the battlefield.”

He added, “In Hezbollah’s more than 40 years of existence, it has faced numerous incidents, including assassinations. This latest event will undoubtedly make Hezbollah stronger than before, and Hezbollah will continue on its path. The wretched Zionists should brace themselves, as Hezbollah will cast a permanent shadow of fear over all the occupied territories, and the Zionists will not escape the grasp of a heroic, powerful, and victorious Hezbollah.”

The former Iranian defense minister further said, “Hezbollah has always been victorious, and it remains so now. The Zionists cannot undermine Hezbollah by assassinating leaders like the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.”

He continued, “Hezbollah has developed and trained strong individuals over the past 40 years, and they are immediately replaced when needed. As you can see, after the martyrdom of its commanders, Hezbollah’s attacks on the occupied territories have not only continued but intensified, proving that Hezbollah is alive and moving forward with great strength.”

When asked about the death of commanders such as Fouad Shaker, Ibrahim Aqil, or Ali Karaki and whether Hezbollah has the necessary manpower to replace them, Vahidi said: “As per my knowledge, the moment the commanders were martyred, new individuals were appointed in their place. Today, we can say that there is no vacant position within Hezbollah’s command structure; all positions have been filled, and their operations continue with strength.”

He also mentioned that the new generation of Hezbollah commanders has taken on leadership with faith, creativity, initiative, and courage. He stressed that if these commanders had not been quickly replaced, Hezbollah’s operations against the Zionist regime would have stalled, but everyone can see that Hezbollah’s successive strikes continue with speed and power, under the guidance of the new commanders.

When asked about the possibility of someone replacing Nasrallah within Hezbollah, Vahidi said, “Regarding the leadership of the martyred Nasrallah, it should be noted that he was an extraordinary leader, but many strong individuals within Hezbollah have learned from him and are capable of leading the organization and continuing its path. Just as Nasrallah carried forward the mission of the martyr Sayyed Abbas Mousavi, Hezbollah will continue its path with strength.”

Addressing the Israeli regime’s claims that it had destroyed all of Hezbollah’s strategic military reserves, Vahidi said: “None of Hezbollah’s strategic equipment has been destroyed or even targeted. Some of the less foolish Zionists have even admitted this.”

He continued, “Claims about the destruction of Hezbollah’s strategic reserves are purely psychological warfare. In fact, these strategic reserves have not yet been deployed, and in the future, the Zionist regime will realize the situation it faces.”

The former Iranian defense minister added, “It is clear and certain that the Zionist regime has attacked Hezbollah commanders with U.S.-supplied bunker-buster bombs. They are boasting about American bombs, but what they used in the assault on Hezbollah commanders and the martyr Nasrallah has nothing to do with their own capabilities.”
