Gen. Salami: Resistance Hasn’t Weakened, Yemeni Resistance Will Prevail
WANA (Dec 28) – Major General Hossein Salami, the Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), praised the steadfastness of the Yemeni people, stating that they are defending Palestine with dignity and will ultimately prevail.
In an interview, Salami emphasized that, just as the Yemenis have resisted with honor and integrity so far, they will continue their struggle with divine support and ultimately emerge victorious.
He highlighted that the resistance has not weakened, pointing out that the Yemeni people continue to defend Palestine admirably and participate in weekly rallies in support of Gaza.
Yahya Saree, the spokesman for Yemen’s Armed Forces, announced on Friday that, in response to the crimes of the Israeli regime against the people of Gaza and Israel’s aggression against Yemen, Yemeni forces had launched a unique military operation targeting the Israeli Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv with a supersonic ballistic missile, “Palestine 2.”
Saree also reported that Yemeni forces had conducted another drone strike on the “Santa Ursula” ship in the Arabian Sea near Socotra Island.
In his statement, Saree made it clear that Yemen’s military operations will continue until Israel ceases its attacks on Gaza.
