WANA (Aug 20) — Deputy Commander of the IRGC, General Ali Fadavi, in an interview with reporters, stated that the retribution for Haniyeh’s assassination would be determined and carried out by Iran at a time of its choosing.

Fadavi stated that turmoil is brewing in Israel, where the anticipation of Iranian retaliation is causing more fear than the prospect of death itself. He warned that Israel, having committed a grave crime by assassinating Ismail Haniyeh, will face harsher punishment than ever before.

Fadavi also commented on the ongoing Arbaeen pilgrimage in Iraq, where millions of Muslims worldwide have gathered.

He noted that the enemies are closely monitoring the event, aware of its significance but despite Western media blackout, the Arbaeen pilgrimage has gained global recognition.

Fadavi praised the opportunity to serve Arbaeen pilgrims, considering it a divine duty with greater rewards than the pilgrimage itself.
