WANA (Nov 03) – The Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran, during the ceremony for the Day of the Fight Against Global Arrogance, held annually on November 4th by Iranian students, stated: “If the U.S. and the Zionist regime do not change their behavior, they will move towards collapse and destruction; this is the will of the Islamic nation.”

The IRGC Commander added: “November 4th is a day marked by the courageous action of Muslim students following the line of Imam Khomeini. With his approval, student youth stormed the political heart of arrogance in the sacred land of the Islamic Republic of Iran and dismantled the last bastion of American colonial policy and its central political presence in Iran.”

General Salami said, “This action by the victorious students following the line of Imam marked the end of America’s formal dominance over a great country named the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

The U.S. Is the Source of All Crimes in the World

The IRGC Commander stated: “The U.S. is a contradictory entity in the world. While it speaks of democracy, freedom, welfare, security, human rights, the global order, and world peace, it is actually the source of all political and military upheaval, the origin of crimes, massacres, invasions, and occupations worldwide.”

Referring to America’s human rights record, General Salami said: “We know the U.S. for the atomic bombings in Japan that, in an instant, burned hundreds of thousands of people. We know the U.S. for its shameful coups around the world, including in 1953 in Iran, which marked the beginning of complete political, military, cultural, and economic domination over the Iranian people for 25 years. We know it for supporting dictators and promoting despotic regimes globally. It is known as a country unsatisfied with its own territory, envisioning global political geography as a vast part of the earth and aiming to dominate the political will of nations through wars, occupations, and aggression.”

General Salami continued, “We must recognize the U.S. as it truly is: known for suppressing popular uprisings, imprisoning the world’s free people, and waging wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, and the Eastern Mediterranean.”

Takfiri Terrorism and Bloody Divisions Are Products of U.S. Policy

General Salami asserted that “the phenomenon of Takfiri terrorism and the creation of bloody divisions in the Islamic world are products of U.S. policy,” adding, “We know it for its absolute support of the occupying regime in Palestine as part of its colonial policies to politically reshape the West Asian region. We know it for the bombs that rain down on the people of Palestine and Lebanon day and night.”

The Commander of the IRGC also said: “We know the U.S. for the massacres of Black and Native Americans in their homeland and society. We know it for George Floyd. This is the true image and real character of the U.S., which seeks to mask its support for dictators around the world with a glossy façade of democracy.”

General Salami concluded: “The U.S. seeks to enslave freedom-seekers worldwide under the guise of liberty, but what we know of the U.S. are the wars it orchestrated in the Islamic world after the victory of the Islamic Revolution. For the past 45 years, the United States has sought to turn all Islamic lands into battlegrounds. In every conflict, one side has been the U.S., while on the other side have been Muslims, defending their identity, independence, and territorial integrity.”

The Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated: “In Iraq, the U.S. brought years of setbacks, insecurity, and instability. In Afghanistan, after 20 years of occupation, it left behind a vast army with financial resources of $85 billion in a disgraceful retreat. We know America by its defeats. Its failure in the Tabas incident, where America’s elite Delta Force burned amidst sandstorms by the will of God Almighty, was a clear display of America’s body trapped by the Iranian people’s resilience.”

The U.S. suffered a defeat from the Iranian nation

Commander Hossein Salami continued in his speech: “When America couldn’t overcome the political resolve of the Iranian nation through its support for Saddam, and the eight-year defense ended with the grandeur of Iran’s national strength, it was America that witnessed part of its political sunset in this land and region.”

The Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC added, “When the U.S. failed to achieve its goals with economic sanctions against Iran and couldn’t impose its political will as imagined, the Iranian nation’s determination surpassed that of the enemy, leaving behind economic pressures and threats to pave its way toward reclaiming its true glory. Once again, it was America that faced defeat.”

Salami went on to say, “When America, despite all its support for Israel, failed to implement the so-called Abraham Accords in the region and saw its political dreams shattered, it faced another defeat.”

He stated, “America has learned to be defeated by nations, especially by the great Iranian nation; when it couldn’t overthrow the Syrian government, and when its economic blockade and political pressure failed to weaken Hezbollah, it was America that suffered defeat.”

Commander Salami emphasized, “Today, America is witnessing its political decline. Since the inception of the revolution, it has been experiencing a gradual decay in power. The foundations of American dominance are eroding, and it can no longer impose its political will over nations and governments as it did during the Cold War. America can no longer win wars; the world now belongs to the will of nations and those who stand against this oppressive system with hearts full of faith.”

Referring to the events in Gaza, Salami stated, “Today, even America, some European countries, and parts of its allies have joined forces in a coalition to subdue a small population in a narrow strip called Gaza. Yet, each day, the flames of resistance, steadfastness, and the bright light of faith among the Palestinian people and women fighters create new sparks, rays, and hopes of resistance. Even in this seemingly small arena, America finds itself losing to the small hands of Gaza’s children.”

Salami affirmed, “The Muslim nations have become aware. Look to southern Lebanon, where the youth of Hezbollah, after enduring severe blows from Israel, stand confidently, alive, determined, and steadfastly blocking the way for Israel. Hezbollah isn’t content with just avoiding defeat; it seeks to bury Israel and its international supporters in southern Lebanon and occupied Palestine, and this fate will soon unfold.”

We will ultimately defeat our enemies

The Commander issued a warning to the U.S. and Israel, saying, “We continually warn them that if they do not change their behavior, they will move toward collapse and destruction.”

Salami emphasized, “Today, unity in the Islamic world is stronger than ever. Martyrs from every corner of Islamic lands have joined in a common trench. (Commander Abbas) Nilforushan became a martyr with Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah; our (General) Qassem (Soleimani) was martyred alongside Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis. Another martyr joined Fouad Shukr, with martyrs from Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen, Bahrain, Iran, Lebanon, Syria, and Turkey. Wherever there are Muslims, young people are preparing for a great jihad.”

Commander Salami concluded by saying, “We will advance to conquer great peaks, and God is with us.”
