Gharibabadi: The US Does Not Believe in Human Rights
WANA (June 29) – A roundtable on “America Plus 3 (Terror, Sanctions, and Crimes Against Humanity)” was held at the Human Rights Headquarters on July 30, 2024, in the presence of the Head of the Organizing Committee for the Week of Revisiting and Exposing American Human Rights Violations, the Deputy for International Affairs of the Judiciary, several university professors, and Iranian citizens freed from American prisons.
Kazem Gharibabadi, Secretary of Iran’s Human Rights Headquarters, at the beginning of this roundtable, referred to the Week of Exposing and Revisiting American Human Rights Violations and stated:
“It must be explained that the US fundamentally does not believe in human rights, so appropriate policies can be designed to counter it.
The US’s crimes are not limited to the Iranian nation.
The US views human rights through a political lens.
“The US maintains extensive comprehensive relations with countries with poor human rights records.
While supporting and promoting human rights in our country, we pay special attention to the issue of human rights violations worldwide.”
