WANA (Oct 26) – Israel’s aggressive action against the Islamic Republic of Iran has sparked a wave of condemnation at the international level. In response to this escalation, various countries, including members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Venezuela, Algeria, Indonesia, Lebanon, the Maldives, and Bahrain, have issued statements condemning the attack, labeling it a violation of Iran’s sovereignty and international law.

 

The GCC condemned Israel’s aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

The Venezuelan Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted Israel’s attacks on Iran and Syria, condemning these actions as violations of national sovereignty.

 

Algeria also condemned the attacks, expressing its solidarity with Iran and calling for respect for the sovereignty of these nations.

 

Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Israel’s military assault on Iran violated international law and stressed the importance of maintaining peace and restraint in the region.

 

Additionally, Lebanon’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the United Nations Security Council to take responsibility for ending Israel’s military escalations.

 

The Maldives and Bahrain likewise condemned the attacks, calling for an immediate halt to military tensions and adherence to international laws in the region.

 

Japanese Foreign Minister condemned actions escalating tensions in the West Asia region, stating, “We are deeply concerned about the recent attacks in the Middle East.” He called for maximum restraint from all parties and emphasized Japan’s commitment to promoting stability through diplomatic efforts.

 

The Spanish Foreign Ministry also urged adherence to international law and called for restraint to prevent conflict escalation in the Middle East. The statement highlighted the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, a mechanism for continuous humanitarian aid, and the release of all hostages. Spain reaffirmed its commitment to restoring stability in the region and will host a regional meeting of the Union for the Mediterranean on Monday to discuss the ongoing conflicts.

 

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez released a statement condemning Israel’s recent actions against Iran, calling it an escalation of a new and dangerous conflict in the Middle East. He noted that these Israeli actions, supported by U.S. political, logistical, and military backing, could have irreparable consequences for the region.

 

The Nicaraguan government condemned the Israeli regime’s recent aggression against Iran, labeling the attacks as “unjustifiable.”

 

Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned Israel’s recent attack on Iran and expressed concern about the evolving situation in West Asia. In a post on its X (formerly Twitter) page, the ministry wrote, “Armenia condemns actions aimed at undermining international security, as seen in last Saturday’s attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
