WANA  (Oct 15) – The joint Military Friendship Commission between Iran and the Sultanate of Oman was held in Muscat, with the presence of a delegation from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

The 19th annual meeting of the joint Military Friendship Commission between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Sultanate of Oman began on Monday, October 14, hosted by the Sultanate of Oman.

 

In this meeting, Brigadier General Mohammad Ahadi, Head of International Relations and Defense Diplomacy at the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Brigadier General Hamed Al-Balushi, Deputy Chief of Operations and Planning of the Armed Forces of the Sultanate of Oman, chaired the Iranian and Omani delegations.

 

The two sides reviewed a number of issues on the agenda that aim to enhance bilateral military cooperation and discussed activities arising from the aforementioned committee.
