International Collaborations at Kerman Science and Technology Park Begin
WANA (Jan 26) – The head of Kerman Science and Technology Park announced a recent coordination meeting to explore scientific exchanges between this park and Technopark in Turkey. During the session, the scientific capacities of both sides were introduced, and the feasibility of joint collaborations was discussed.
Hossein Kazemi stated that in the recent online meeting with the director and officials of Technopark, potential avenues for mutual synergy were examined.
According to him, the meeting highlighted the capabilities of both parties. Discussions also focused on facilitating the participation of technology companies in exhibitions hosted by each side and fostering collaboration to address technological needs.
Kazemi further noted that plans were made for Technopark’s directors to visit Kerman province. Additionally, arrangements were discussed to ease the participation of Kerman’s tech companies in an exhibition organized by Technopark early next year.
Kazemi emphasized that Technopark is located in Istanbul, the hub of Turkey’s economic exchanges, and stated that international scientific collaboration is a priority. Neighboring countries such as the UAE and Iraq are also on the agenda for future partnerships.
He added that beyond facilitating the participation of knowledge-based companies in international exhibitions, opportunities are being explored for Iranian companies to establish a presence in international science parks, subject to comprehensive feasibility studies.
Kazemi expressed hope that these international collaborations would enhance the utilization of Kerman’s knowledge-based and technology-driven companies on a global scale.
