WANA (Mar 23) – This evening, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araqchi, held a phone conversation with Ayman Safadi, Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, to discuss and exchange views on regional developments.

During the conversation, Araqchi expressed deep concern over the blatant violations of ceasefire agreements in Gaza and Lebanon by the Israeli regime.

He strongly condemned Israel’s extensive attacks on Gaza and Lebanon and the killing of civilians. He also emphasized the urgent need for immediate action by the international community and Islamic countries to stop the aggression and crimes of the occupying regime and to prevent further insecurity and threats to regional peace and stability.

Araqchi also condemned the continuation of U.S. military aggression against Yemen, warning of escalating tensions and the potential for a wider conflict in the region. He called for greater regional cooperation to counter sinister plots against Islamic countries.

The Jordanian Foreign Minister also voiced serious concern over the flagrant violations of ceasefire agreements and Israel’s military attacks against the defenseless Palestinian people in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.

He stressed the importance of serious international and regional efforts to pressure Israel into halting its attacks and preventing further escalation of insecurity across the region.
