WANA (Oct 31) – The Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Qatar discussed regional developments and ongoing efforts to halt the immediate conflict against Gaza and Lebanon.

 

On Wednesday evening, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Qatari Prime Minister, and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held a phone conversation to review and exchange views on the latest regional developments.

 

During the call, the Qatari Foreign Minister provided an update on recent diplomatic efforts to end the conflict against Gaza and Lebanon. Iran’s Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of a unified effort among Islamic countries to support the people of Palestine and Lebanon, describing an immediate cessation of what he called “genocide by the Israeli regime in Gaza” and its attacks on Lebanon as essential for restoring stability and peace to the region.
