Iran Condemned Israel’s Assault on the Gaza Strip
WANA (Oct 29) – Ismail Baghaei, the spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, reacted to today’s assault by Israeli forces on a residential home in Beit Lahia, located in the northern Gaza Strip, which led to the death of more than sixty civilians and injured dozens. Baghaei condemned the act as a stark example of ongoing genocide and the killing of defenseless Palestinian people, calling for decisive international action to stop these crimes and prosecute the leaders of the occupying regime.
The spokesperson emphasized that Israel’s continued assault on residential areas, mass killing of Gaza residents, along with the complete blockade of the region and prevention of humanitarian aid, constitutes a blatant war crime and part of a plan to eradicate the Palestinian nation and force them from their homeland. He stressed the responsibility of governments to act against genocide and war crimes by the occupying regime.
Baghaei also condemned the military and political support provided by the United States and some Western countries to Israel, describing them as complicit in the crimes committed in Gaza. He called for a global mobilization to counter the genocide against Palestinians and to stop the ongoing violence in the Gaza Strip.
