Iran Condemns Attack on Pakistani Military Bus
WANA (Jan 05) – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned a suicide attack on a bus carrying Pakistani military personnel on the outskirts of Turbat, Pakistan.
In a statement, Esmail Baghaei, the spokesperson, expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, as well as to the government and people of Pakistan. He emphasized the need to enhance efforts to prevent and combat terrorism.
The attack targeted a bus transporting military personnel traveling from Karachi to Turbat. The explosion resulted in the deaths of six Pakistani soldiers and injuries to 25 others.
The Balochistan Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the bombing.
