Iran Condemns Cyber Terror Attack, Offers Support to Lebanon
WANA (Sep 17) – In a recent phone call, Iran’s Health Minister, Mohammadreza Zafarghandi, expressed condolences and solidarity with Firas Al-Abiad, Lebanon’s Health Minister, condemning the cyber-terrorist attack by the Israeli regime against the Lebanese people.
Zafarghandi also extended Iran’s readiness to provide medical aid and support to the victims of the attack.
In response, Al-Abiad thanked Zafarghandi for his prompt expression of sympathy and assured that relief efforts are under control, with injured individuals receiving treatment.
He noted that Lebanon may seek humanitarian assistance from the friendly and brotherly Republic of Iran if needed.
The explosions of personal communication devices (pagers) in various locations across Lebanon today resulted in numerous casualties. The blasts occurred in the suburbs of Beirut and other areas.
