Iran Condemns Israeli Atrocities in Palestine
WANA (Oct 21) – Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, strongly condemned the ongoing “criminal actions” of Israel in occupied Palestine.
In a statement, Baghaei declared, “It is disgraceful that, under the silence of the international community and human rights organizations, along with the impunity granted to the rogue Israeli regime and continued U.S. support, we witness daily atrocities and brutal acts committed against the Palestinian people.”
Referring to the recent massacre of over 70 Palestinian women and children in Beit Lahia and the violent assaults by extremist Israeli settlers on Al-Aqsa Mosque, Baghaei added, “These events indicate a dangerous and systematic plan by the apartheid Israeli regime aimed at erasing the identity of the Palestinian nation and desecrating their holy sites, particularly Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson also warned of the dire and unpredictable consequences of continued Israeli crimes and aggressions against the Palestinian people, urging the international community and Islamic nations to respond immediately, decisively, and in a way that holds the leaders of the regime accountable.
In conclusion, Baghaei reiterated that “The Islamic Republic of Iran remains firmly committed to its moral, Islamic, and legal duty to support the legitimate resistance of the Palestinian people against occupation and apartheid.”
