Iran Condemns Israeli Attacks on Yemen
WANA (July 21) – Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has strongly condemned the recent Israeli regime’s attacks on the Hodeidah port facilities in Yemen. He stated that the oppressed but resilient people of Yemen are paying the price for their honorable support of the innocent citizens, women, and children of Gaza.
Kanaani described the attacks, which resulted in the destruction of civilian infrastructure at Hodeidah port and caused numerous casualties, as indicative of the aggressive nature of the child-killing Israeli regime. He warned of the dangers of escalating tensions and the spread of conflict in the region due to the Zionists’ dangerous adventurism.
The spokesperson identified the ongoing killing and comprehensive siege of the defenseless residents of the Gaza Strip as the root cause of the current tensions in the region. He emphasized that peace will not return to the region as long as the Israeli regime’s aggressions in Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip, continue.
Kanaani held the Israeli regime and its supporters, including the U.S. government, directly responsible for the dangerous and unpredictable consequences of the continued crimes in Gaza and the adventurous attacks on Yemen.
The Foreign Ministry spokesperson offered prayers for the martyrs of the recent attacks on Yemen’s Hodeidah port, asking for high ranks for them in the hereafter, patience and endurance for their families, and a swift recovery for the injured.
