WANA (Oct 07) – The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Esmail Baghaei, strongly condemned Israel’s military attacks on Syria, urging decisive action at both regional and international levels to halt these aggressions and hold “the occupying regime” accountable.

Baghaei highlighted the ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, widespread assaults on Lebanon, and repeated military strikes on Syria by the Israeli regime.

He warned that the continuation of these actions, along with the inaction of the United Nations Security Council, pose a serious threat to regional peace and stability, with significant implications for global peace and security.

The Foreign Ministry spokesperson also described Israel’s attacks on Islamic and Arab countries as a reflection of the regime’s inherent aggression and expansionist nature.

Baghaei emphasized the responsibility of the United States and other Western supporters of Israel for enabling violations of international law and facilitating Israel’s war crimes.
