Iran Condemns U.S. Support for Israeli ‘Crimes Against Humanity’
WANA (August 15) – Nasser Kanaani, the spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated in a message shared on his personal social media account: “In the past 10 months, the Zionist regime has killed 40,000 innocent Palestinian civilians, including around 15,000 children, in the Gaza Strip, injured over 100,000, and left thousands buried under rubble and missing. Meanwhile, American officials shamelessly label Palestinians and resistance groups as ‘terrorists,’ and the U.S. government claims it is committed to defending Israel against ‘terrorists.'”
The spokesperson for Iran’s diplomatic corps added that the U.S. government, with its baseless and false logic, provides financial, military, and political support for the genocide of Palestinians.
He emphasized: “The Zionist regime is a ‘racist terrorist regime’ that, for several decades, has been systematically and grossly violating the basic, natural, and human rights of the Palestinian people, committing ‘crimes against humanity,’ with full backing from the West, especially the U.S. government.”
Kanaani concluded by asserting: “This is not only a permanent and indelible disgrace for the U.S. government but also an international responsibility that can be pursued legally.”
