Iran: Israel would not have committed this crime without U.S. support
WANA (August 01) – The Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations Security Council stated that the international community, especially the Security Council, cannot remain indifferent to Israel’s crimes and must not allow the Israeli regime to escape responsibility for its violations.
Amir Saeed Eirovani, Iran’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations, on the evening of Wednesday, August 10th, during a Security Council meeting on the “Situation in the Middle East,” said: We condemn Israel’s terrorist act as a serious violation of international law.
Eirovani stated: The assassination of Martyr Haniyeh is another manifestation of the terrorism that Israel has pursued for decades.
The Iranian representative stated: The recent crime is part of a broader path that the Zionist regime has taken in the region.
This senior Iranian diplomat added: Israel would not have committed this crime without U.S. intelligence support.
Eirovani added:The international community, especially the Security Council, cannot remain indifferent to Israel’s crimes and should not allow the Israeli regime to escape responsibility for its violations.
He concluded:Groups that resist occupiers in Palestine and the region are not terrorist groups.
