Iran: Israeli Crimes in Lebanon Backed by U.S. Will Not Go Unanswered
WANA (Sep 28) – Iran’s spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Ebrahim Rezaei, condemned the recent crimes committed by the Israelis in Lebanon, stating that “these atrocities occurred with the support and backing of the Americans and will not go unanswered.”
Iran’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly convened to discuss recent regional events, particularly the recent atrocities committed by the Israeli regime in Lebanon.
During the meeting, members strongly condemned these acts and expressed their condolences for the death of numerous fighters and innocent civilians in Lebanon.
The spokesperson for the commission stated that the crimes perpetrated by the Israelis, supported by the United States, will not go unanswered.
Members expressed their disappointment over the silence of international organizations and countries that claim to uphold human rights.
The spokesperson emphasized that the commission demands a practical, decisive, and regret-inducing response to the Israeli regime. They asserted that such crimes and acts of genocide will not prevent the downfall of the Israeli regime; rather, the blood of the dead people will pave the way for the liberation of Jerusalem.
He further remarked that “The Zionists are living the final days of their existence in the occupied territories; all events in the region signal the beginning of the end for the despised and criminal Zionist regime.”
Additionally, the commission plans to hold meetings this week to discuss the events in Lebanon and Palestine.
